Common salt H2o Rinse: too much common salt?

I was told to rinse my mouth with 1/four teaspoon of salt with one glass of warm water 4 times daily.

I still have been eyeballing information technology and mixing to taste, and rinsing multiple times per 24-hour interval, and multiple times per hr well-nigh of the fourth dimension.

QUESTION- is it harmful to rinse with a solution that has also much common salt?
